Our Philosophy
Put and Paper started from a simple love for paper, leather, and the quiet joy of making things by hand. We believe that everyday objects can hold meaning — especially the ones that stay with us for a long time. Our goal is to create pieces that feel personal, useful, and easy to live with.
Design
Our design approach is simple: keep it functional and timeless. We focus on clean shapes, thoughtful details, and materials that age beautifully. Many of our designs come from our own daily needs as journal users and makers.
Handmade
Everything is handmade in our studio, one piece at a time. From cutting the leather to stitching and finishing, each step is done carefully by hand. This process takes more time, but it allows us to pay attention to the small details that make each piece special.
Sustainability
We carefully choose the leather we use. Most of our materials come from tanneries that are part of the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale. This means the leather is vegetable-tanned using traditional methods in Tuscany, Italy. It ages beautifully over time and is made with a process that respects both craftsmanship and the environment.
